Taiko drums echo in NZ classrooms
Japanese taiko drums are being introduced to students in Aotearoa through taiko workshops offered by the Asia New Zealand Foundation Te Whītau Tūhono.
The workshops are offered in person in the Auckland region or online for any school in New Zealand. We have run workshops in more than eight schools in Auckland, Nelson, Dunedin and Wellington across different year groups.
