July 26 – Haiku – Moments in Nature

With José Garcia. A haiku is a very short poem, traditionally three lines, 17 syllables. It goes back to the 1700’s in Japan, and it was meant to capture just one moment in nature—a poem that would take no more than one breath to say it. Jose will give examples of some of his haikus and experiences in nature which inspired them.
